Abstract

Lactic acid is a by-product of the anaerobic metabolism of lactate, in the metabolism occurred an imperfect breakdown of carbohydrates into lactic acid which is the weakness of muscle is one of indicator. The purpose of conducting research is to know about the impact of High Intensity Training on the increase in lactic acid of adolescent in Yon Bek Ang 3. The experiment is performed in dormitory Yon Bek Ang 3 on June 26, 2021, by “One Group Pre-Test and Post-Test design” methods. The samples consisted of 15 people from a total population of 30 peoples. To analyze the data; t-test and statistical technique are used with a significant level of α = 0.05. Based on the calculation, the average X and Y are given 3,113 and 10,486. Furthermore, the variance and standard deviation of X presented as 1,268 and 1,126. However, the variance and standard deviation of Y presented as 13,410 and 3,662 with the statistic test is -7,45651. The results of (n1+n2) – 2 = (15+15) – 2 and confidence level 0,05 is obtained the critical value of t-table -2,048. The value above shown statistic test is less than the t-table. Hence, the difference percentage of the results from pre-test and post-test found 49,13%. As a result, there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test within High Intensity Interval Training to increase Lactat acid Keywords : HIIT, Lactic Acid, Youth
