Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, bagaimana respon masyarakat sekitar mengenai dampak dari aktivitas industri tempe di Kelurahan Semanan, Kecamatan Kalideres, Jakarta Barat. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei yang dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuisioner melalui Google Form dibantu oleh Ketua RT 05/ RW 011 sebagai perwakilan karena data diambil pada saat masa Pandemi Covid-19. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat RW 011 Kelurahan Semanan yang bukan pelaku industri tempe. Sampel diambil sebesar 100 Responden. Aspek yang diteliti terbagi menjadi tiga, yaitu aspek respon kognitif, respon afektif, dan respon konatif atau tindakan terhadap dampak langsung dan tidak langsung industri tempe. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah dalam aspek respon kognitif masyarakat mengetahui apa saja dampak yang diakibatkan oleh industri tempe namun belum sepenuhnya mengetahui bagaimana pengolahan limbah untuk mengurangi dampak tersebut. Dalam aspek respon afektif 78% masyarakat merasa khawatir akan ketersediaan air bersih di wilayah tersebut. Kemudian masyarakat merasa khawatir kesehatannya akan terganggu karena pencemaran udara. Dalam aspek respon konatif (psikomotorik) atau tindakan masyarakat melakukan kerja bakti untuk mengurangi pencemaran-pencemaran yang diakibatkan oleh industri tempe. Masyarakat RW 011 merasakan dampak langsung akibat industri tempe yaitu pencemaran udara, pencemaran air dan pencemaran tanah. Dampak tidak langsung juga dirasakan namun hanya 26% dari responden yang merasakan dampak tidak langsung yaitu terganggunya kesehatan akibat industri tempe (ISPA). Kata Kunci: Respon Masyarakat, Dampak Industri Tempe, Semanan This study aims to determine how the response of the surrounding community regarding the impact of the tempe industrial activity in Semanan Village, Kalideres District, West Jakarta. The research method used is descriptive with a survey approach which is carried out by distributing questionnaires via Google Form assisted by the Head of RT 05/RW 011 as a representative because the data was taken during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study is the community of RW 011 Semanan Village who is not a tempe industry player. Samples were taken by 100 respondents. The aspects studied are divided into three, namely aspects of cognitive responses, affective responses, and conative responses or actions to the direct and indirect impacts of the tempe industry. The results of this study are in the cognitive response aspect, the community knows what the impacts are caused by the tempe industry but do not fully know how to treat waste to reduce these impacts. In the aspect of affective response, 78% of the people are worried about the availability of clean water in the area. Then people are worried that their health will be disturbed because of air pollution. In the aspect of conative response (psychomotor) or community action, they do community service to reduce the pollution caused by the tempe industry. The people of RW 011 feel the direct impact of the tempe industry, namely air pollution, water pollution and soil pollution. The indirect impact was also felt, but only 26% of the respondents felt the indirect impact, namely the disruption of health due to the tempeh industry (ARI).
