Abstract

Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media game dapat mengemas materi pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan dapat memotivasi peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajar. Selain itu, Kemajuan teknologi di era ini sangat mendukung bagi peserta didik untuk belajar dengan menggunakan game sehingga game dapat diakses untuk belajar dimanapun dan kapanpun. Penelitian ini menghasilkan game pendidikan fisika untuk aplikasi mobile berdasarkan perjalanan Joseph Black, ilmuwan di bidang termodinamika. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk mendukung media pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan ADDIE. Langkah-langkahnya adalah analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Game edukasi fisika ini berisi game bertipe puzzle yang terdiri dari 5 misi. Penghargaan yang akan diterima pemain berupa skor dan fakta tentang kisah hidup fisikawan Joseph Black. Penilaian produk oleh ahli media sebesar 98,75% dan oleh ahli materi sebesar 95,83%. Hasil yang diperoleh berada pada kategori “sangat layak”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi Black Journey layak digunakan sebagai media pendamping belajar. Using game media can package learning materials to be more exciting and motivate students in learning activities. In addition, technological advances in this era are very supportive for students to learn by using games to be accessed for learning anywhere and anytime. This study produces educational physics games for mobile apps based on the journey of Joseph Black, scientists in the thermodynamics field. These apps aim to support the medium for learning physics. The research used Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE approach. The steps are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This physics educational game contains a puzzle-type game that consists of 5 missions. The award that players will receive is in the form of scores and facts about the life story of the physicist Joseph Black. The product assessment by media experts has 98,75% and by material experts is 95,83%. The results obtained are in the “very feasible” category. Thus, it can be concluded that The Black Journey apps are suitable for use as a learning companion media.
