Abstract
Proses pembelajaran fisika membutuhkan kegiatan laboratorium. ************ The process of learning physics requires laboratory activities. However, there are several obstacles that prevent laboratory activities from being carried out. Advances in computer technology make it possible to have a virtual laboratory. This study aims to develop a virtual laboratory simulation on kinematics topics. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) adapted from the 4D models. The instrument of this research is questionnaire of expert team feasibility test and student response questionnaire using Likert scale. From the results of the preliminary analysis survey that had been carried out, 103 student responses were collected with the results: (1) 89,3% students know what is physics experiment, (2) 61,2% students have never done physics experiment virtually, and amongst them > 80% students are interested to do it, (3) as much as 66,3% students are interested if the worksheet is combined with experiment procedure, (4) 49,6% students are interested in virtual laboratory, 47,5% students are very interested in virtual laboratory, 2,9% students are not interested in virtual laboratory. This study brings in kinematics virtual laboratory to train high school students laboratory activities. This study is validated by physics expert and media expert, the results obtained that the Kinematics Virtual Laboratory had very feasible criteria with an average of 81.43 %. Then, trials are conducted to some high school students and physics teachers.
