Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-talk-write berbantuan Edmodo terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan post-test-only control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling dan simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berupa empat soal materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, thitung = 2,0689 dan t¬tabel = 2,0002. Terlihat bahwa thitung > t¬tabel, maka tolak H0 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas kontrol. Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think-talk-write dengan bantuan Edmodo berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SMP Negeri 154 Jakarta pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel dengan besar pengaruh sebesar 0,5256 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. This study aims to see the effect of the think-talk-write type of cooperative learning model assisted by Edmodo on students' problem-solving abilities. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a post-test-only control group design. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling and simple random sampling. The research instrument on this study is a test instrument for students' problem-solving abilities in the form of four questions on the Two-Variable Linear Equation System which had been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, tcount = 2.0689 and ttable = 2.0002. It can be seen that tcount > ttable, then reject H0 at the significance level = 0.05. This shows that the problem-solving ability of the experimental class students’ is higher than the problem-solving ability of the control class students’. Therefore, the think-talk-write type of cooperative learning model assisted by Edmodo has a significant effect on the problem-solving abilities of students at SMP Negeri 154 Jakarta on Two-variable Linear Equation with a large effect of 0.5256 which is a medium category.
