Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengintegrasian Critical Thinking (Berpikir Kritis) pada mata kuliah Kajian Budaya di program studi sastra inggris Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini akan dibangun dari penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang menggabungkan dengan penelitian kuantitatif yang menghabiskan waktu sekitar satu bulan untuk mengumpulkan data dengan menggunakan dua tahap atau babak kuesioner yaitu kuesioner tertutup dan kuesioner terbuka. Pengumpulan data diambil dari tiga angkatan siswa yang terdiri dari 33 siswa dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan data yang acak terpadu. Lalu, hasil angket tertutup diperoleh dari skor dan persentase yang akan dianalisis. Sedangkan hasil angket terbuka akan dideskripsikan menjadi sebuah narasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan siswa memberikan hal yang positif dan telah menemukan indikator berpikir kritis di kelas Kajian Budaya. Siswa memandang berpikir kritis sebagai jembatan untuk menghasilkan pemahaman yang lebih baik untuk melihat beberapa masalah dan membantu mereka untuk lebih bertanggung jawab atas apa pun yang akan atau telah mereka sampaikan kepada orang lain. Kata kunci: Persepsi Siswa, Kelas Ilmu Budaya, CT Terpadu ************* The objectives of this research was to perceive the integrating Critical Thinking in cultural studies class at English Literature Study Program University State of Jakarta. This research will constructed from qualitative descriptive which is mixed with quantitative that spent about one-month period to collecting the data by using two phases questionnaire: closed-ended and open-ended questionnaire. The data collecting was taken from three batches of student’ which is consisting from 33 students by using random purposive sampling. The results of closed-ended questionnaire was obtained from scores and percentage that will be to analyzed. While the results of open-ended will be put into description. The results showed the students gave the positive thing and has found any indicator of critical thinking in cultural studies class. The students viewed the critical thinking as a bridge to produce a better understanding to see some issues and helped them to be more responsible for the anything of word that they will or has convey to the others.
