Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai onomatope jenis-jenis kehidupan sehari-hari serta kehidupan sosial dan hobi dalam komik berbahasa Prancis ditinjau dari makna leksikal serta kontekstualnya. Jenis-jenis onomatope pada penelitian ini berdasar pada klasifikasi onomatope bahasa Prancis menurut Enckell dan Rézeau yang meliputi; (1) klasifikasi kehidupan sehari hari, yakni; jenis cairan dan uap, jenis perabotan rumah tangga, dan jenis lainnya, serta (2) klasifikasi kehidupan sosial dan hobi, yakni; jenis permainan, olahraga, dan perayaan serta jenis hubungan sosial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak dan teknik catat, sementara analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis data kualitatif. Dalam menganalisis onomatope jenis-jenis kehidupan sehari-hari serta kehidupan sosial dan hobi dalam komik berbahasa Prancis, digunakan teori klasifikasi onomatope bahasa Prancis menurut Enckell dan Rézeau (2005), serta teori makna leksikal dan kontekstual. Berdasarkan pada latar belakang masalah, penelitian dibatasi hanya pada jenis-jenis onomatope dalam dua klasifikasi onomatope bahasa Prancis Enckell dan Rézeau (2005), yakni; (1) klasifikasi kehidupan sehari-hari, dan (2) klasifikasi kehidupan sosial dan hobi. Data didapat dari empat komik berbahasa Prancis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 25 data onomatope kehidupan sehari-hari serta kehidupan sosial dan hobi. Secara rinci, berdasarkan hasil analisis 25 data, dalam klasifikasi onomatope kehidupan sehari-hari ditemukan 2 jenis onomatope cairan dan uap, 2 data dalam jenis perkakas rumah tangga, dan 1 data dalam jenis lainnya. Sementara itu, dalam klasifikasi onomatope kehidupan sosial dan hobi, ditemukan 4 jenis onomatope permainan, olahraga, perayaan, serta 16 data dalam jenis hubungan sosial. Onomatope yang ditemukan terbanyak adalah onomatope PAF dengan jumlah 4 buah, kemudian diikuti onomatope TOC TOC berjumlah 2 buah, lalu TOOOOOOT berjumlah 2 buah, dan onomatope lain yang masing masing ditemukan berjumlah 1 buah. This study aims to gain an understanding of the onomatopoeia in types of daily life as well as social life and hobbies in French comics in terms of lexical and contextual meanings. The types of onomatopoeia in this study are based on the French onomatopoeia classification according to Enckell and Rézeau which includes; (1) the classification of daily life, namely; types of liquids and vapors, types of household furniture, and other types, and (2) classification of social life and hobbies, namely; types of games, sports, and celebrations, and types of social relationships. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection was done by observation and note-taking techniques. Besides that, data analysis was done by qualitative data analysis methods. In analyzing the types of onomatopoeia in French comics, the French onomatopoeic classification theory according to Enckell and Rézeau (2005), and Chaer's (2015) theory of lexical and contextual meaning are used. Based on the background of the problem, the research is limited to the types of onomatopoeia in the two French classifications of french onomatopoeia of Enckell and Rézeau (2005), namely; (1) classification of daily life, and (2) classification of social life and hobbies. The data were obtained from four French comics. The results indicate that there are 25 onomatopoeias of daily life and social life and hobbies. In detail, based on the analysis of 25 data, onomatopoeia in the classification of daily life, there are 2 liquid and vapor onomatopoeia, 2 household furniture onomatopoeia, 1 other onomatopoeia. Meanwhile, onomatopoeia in the classification of social life and hobbies, there are 4 onomatopoeia of games, sports, celebrations, and 16 onomatopoeia of social relations. The onomatopoeia that were found the most was PAF with 4 datas in total, followed by TOC TOC with 2 datas in total, then TOOOOOOT with 2 datas in total, and other onomatopoeia with 1 data in each.
