Abstract

Permasalahan yang ada di Taman Waru Yosomulyo Kota Metro Lampung ini ada pada program yang masih sangat kurang terealisasi. Peserta tidak memiliki akses dalam berkegiatan seni rupa khususnya pembelajaran kerajinan daur ulang karena kegiatan belum pernah diadakan dengan alasan kurangnya peminat juga tenaga pengajar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memberikan kegiatan pembelajaran kerajinan daur ulang kepada peserta remaja usia 12 – 14 tahun dengan menganalisis kemampuan peserta dalam hal aktivitas kesenirupaan di Taman Waru Yosomulyo Kota Metro Lampung. Penggunaan limbah botol plastik di kombinasi dengan prinsip 3R dalam penelitian ini diharapkan bermanfaat dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 membuat peneliti menyesuaikan keadaan untuk menjaga peserta beserta aturan kesehatan yang berlaku dan penggunaan model Learning By Doing. Media pembelajaran handout dipilih sebagai solusi panduan belajar bagi peserta kegiatan. Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek/partisipan berjumlah 5 orang yaitu 2 perempuan dan 3 laki-laki yang telah dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuisioner, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan lembar validasi media pembelajaran. Hasil data wawancara dianalisis beserta hasil kegiatan pembelajaran yang peserta ikuti dan disajikan melalui rekapitulasi penilaian, deskripsi karya dan analisis karya/pembelajaran. Penilaian menggunakan tabel Brent G. Wilson, terdiri dari kreativitas dan keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap peserta memiliki minat, tingkat kemampuan, ciri belajar, kreativitas, dan keterampilan kerajinan yang bervariasi. Pada pembuatan kerajinan pot dari botol plastik peserta memperoleh skor nilai berkisar antara 81,89 sampai 86,88, dan pembuatan tempat pensil dari botol plastik berkisar antara 82,74 sampai 87,17. Peserta mampu memahami dengan baik pembelajaran yang dilakukan di setiap tahap-tahap pembuatan karya dan beberapa kesulitan belajar dapat diatasi dengan baik. Setelah penelitian ini, diharapkan kegiatan pembelajaran kerajinan daur ulang dapat dilaksanakan sebagai program rutin di Taman Waru, Lampung dengan melihat dari banyaknya manfaat yang dapat diperoleh peserta salah satunya memperoleh bekal kreativitas dan keterampilan yang menghasilkan produk bernilai ekonomis. ******* The problems that exist in Taman Waru Yosomulyo, Metro Lampung City, are in programs that are still very poorly realized. Participants do not have access to fine arts activities, especially learning of recycled crafts because the activity has never been held due to the lack of interest and teaching staff. The purpose of the study was to provide learning activities for recycling crafts to adolescent participants aged 12-14 years by analyzing the ability of participants in terms of art activities in Taman Waru Yosomulyo, Metro City, Lampung. The use of plastic bottle waste in combination with the 3R principle in this research is expected to be useful in raising awareness of the importance of preserving the environment. The COVID-19 pandemic condition made researchers adjust the situation to take care of the participants along with the applicable health rules and the use of the Learning By Doing model. The handout learning media was chosen as a learning guide solution for activity participants. This type of descriptive qualitative research with 5 subjects/participants namely 2 women and 3 men who have been selected through purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, interviews, documents, documentation, and learning media validation sheets. The results of the interview data were analyzed along with the results of the learning activities that the participants participated in and presented through recapitulation of assessments, descriptions of work and analysis of work/learning. The assessment uses the Brent G. Wilson table, consisting of creativity and skills. The results showed that each participant had varied interests, ability levels, learning characteristics, creativity, and craft skills. In making pots from plastic bottles, participants scored scores ranging from 81.89 to 86.88, and making pencil cases from plastic bottles ranging from 82.74 to 87.17. Participants were able to understand well the learning carried out at each stage of the creation of the work and some learning difficulties could be overcome properly. After this research, it is hoped that the recycling craft learning activities can be carried out as a routine program in Taman Waru, Lampung by looking at the many benefits that can be obtained by participants, one of which is getting the provision of creativity and skills that produce products of economic value.
