Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan learning management system (LMS) berbasis web e-delapan di SMAN 8 Jakarta. Sub fokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian learning management system e-delapan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: wakil kepala sekolah bidang sarana prasarana dan humas, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, ketua tim pengembang lms, guru mata pelajaran, dan dua orang peserta didik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan LMS E-Delapan diawali dengan pembentukan tim pengembang LMS, analisis kebutuhan para calon pengguna, membuat daftar fitur-fitur potensial, menginstall software, mengisi database, dan melakukan review pada LMS sebelum diimplementasikan; (2) Pelaksanaan LMS E-Delapan diawali dengan pengadaan simulasi pelatihan untuk penggunaan E-Delapan, lalu penggunaan web tersebut dalam proses pembelajaran mulai dari absensi, materi bahan ajar, penugasan, pengumpulan tugas, dan penilaian; (3) Pengendalian LMS E-Delapan dilakukan setiap saat selama web tersebut digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, pengendalian yang dilakukan yaitu dengan memastikan server dalam keadaan aktif, melihat respon pengguna, dan melakukan pengembangan pada LMS berdasarkan hasil survey pengguna. This study aims to describe the management of the E-Delapan web-based learning management system (LMS) at SMAN 8 Jakarta. The sub-focus of this research is the planning, implementation, and control of the E-Delapan learning management system. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Informants in this study included: vice principal for infrastructure and public relations, vice principal for curriculum, head of the LMS development team, subject teachers, and two students. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Planning for the E-Delapan LMS begins with the formation of an LMS development team, analyzing the needs of potential users, making a list of potential features, installing software, filling out the database, and conducting a review on the LMS before it is implemented; (2) The implementation of the E-Delapan LMS begins with the provision of training simulations for the use of E-Delapan, then the use of the web in the learning process starts from attendance, teaching materials, assignments, task collection, and assessment; (3) Control of the E-Delapan LMS is carried out at any time as long as the web is used in the learning process, the control carried out is by ensuring the server is active, viewing user responses, and developing the LMS based on the results of user surveys.
