Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui letak kata sifat yang terdapat di dalam frasa adjektiva pada teks dekorasi majalah ELLE Décoration. Kata sifat yang dimaksud adalah kata sifat yang menempel langsung pada kata benda (kata sifat Épithèt). Sebagaimana diketahui bahwa penempatan kata sifat dalam bahasa Prancis bisa ditempatkan sebelum kata benda (l’adjectifantéposé) dan juga setelah kata benda (l’adjectifpostposé). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Analisis dilakukan dengan menemukan frasa adjektiva pada teks dekorasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data sesuai dengan yang dipaparkan oleh Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan atau verifikasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dibantu dengan tabel criteria analisis data yang memuat kata sifat yang terletak sebelum kata benda (l’adjectifantéposé) dan kata sifat setelah kata benda (l’adjectifpostposé). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 75 frasa ajektiva dalam teks dekorasi majalah Elle. Dari total 75 tersebut, diperoleh 51 data untuk kata sifat setelah kata benda (l’adjectifpostposé) dan 24 data untuk kata sifat sebelum kata benda (l’adjectifantéposé). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan peneliti sebagai pembelajar Bahasa Prancis terkait dengan kata sifat yang memiliki kecenderungan terletak sebelum dan sesudah kata benda. Kata Kunci: Kata Sifat, Penempatan Kata Sifat, Majalah ***************** This study aims to know the placement of the adjectives contained in adjective phrases in the decoration text of ELLE Décoration magazine. The adjective in question is an adjective that attaches directly to a noun (adjective épithète). It is well known that the placement of adjectives in French can be placed before a noun (l’adjectiveantéposé) and also after a noun (l’adjectivepostposé). This research is a research with a qualitative approach using content analysis method. The analysis is done by finding adjective phrases in the decoration text. The data collection technique in this study used the listening and note-taking technique. Data analysis techniques are in accordance with those described by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal or verification. The instrument in this research is the researcher himself assisted by a table of data analysis criteria that contains adjectives that are located before the noun (l’adjectiveantéposé) and adjectives after the noun (l’adjectivepostposé). The results of this study indicate that there are 75 adjective phrases in the decoration text of Elle magazine. Of the 75 total, 51 data were obtained for adjectives after nouns (l’adjectivepostposé) and 24 data for adjectives before nouns (l’adjectiveantéposé). The results of this study are expected to add insight to researchers as French language learners related to adjectives that tend to be located before and after nouns.
