Abstract
*********** This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model on distance learning on students' mathematical representation abilities of class VIII students at 227 Junior High School Jakarta on the subject of flat-side building space. The research method used is a quasi experiment. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling and simple random sampling. The sample classes were class VIII-B as the experimental class and class VIII-D as the control class. The instrument used was the result of the student's mathematical representation ability test on the subject of Flat-Side Building Space. The test consists of six questions in the form of descriptions and has been tested for validity and reliability with high category. Based on statistical hypothesis results with t-test, the value of t_count=2,079>t_table=1,669, so that it rejects H_0 with a significance level of α=0,05. This shows that there is an effect of the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model on distance learning on the mathematical representation abilities of students at 227 Junior High School Jakarta. Based on the calculation of the influence, the value of d = 0,524 is obtained so that it is included in the Medium category, which means that it has a moderate effect, namely 33%. Keywords: CMP Learning Model, Distance Learning, Mathematical Representation Ability.
