Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VII di SMP YWKA II Rawamangun pada Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) materi statistika semester genap tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaf dengan metode survei dan teknik korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini kurang dari 100 sehingga jumlah sampel penelitian sama dengan populasi siswa kelas VII SMP YWKA II Rawamangun tahun pelajaran 2020/2021, yaitu 79 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket kemandirian belajar sebanyak 30 butir pernyataan dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebanyak 4 butir soal. Instrumen tersebut telah melalui uji konstruk, isi, dan empiris sebelum digunakan. Koefisien reliabiltas menggunakan rumus Alpha Cronbach untuk angket kemandirian belajar dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis secara berturut-turut didapat 0,893 dan 0,667. Berdasarkan perhitungan, data hasil penelitian berasal dari populasi berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kemandirian belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII pada PJJ di SMP YWKA II Rawamangun. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,176 menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar berpengaruh sebesar 17,6% terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Persamaan regresi linear sederhana \hat{Y}=7,511+0,634X berarti bahwa jika kemandirian belajar (X) meningkat satu poin maka kemampuan komunikasi matematis (Y) akan bertambah sebesar 0,634. ******** This research aims to determine the effect of self regulated learning on students' mathematical communication skills. This research was conducted on seventh grade students at SMP YWKA II Rawamangun in PJJ statistical material for the even semester of the 2020/2021 school year. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with survey methods and correlational techniques. The population of this research less than 100 so that the number of research samples is the same as the population of class VII students of SMP YWKA II Rawamangun for the academic year 2020/2021, which is 79 students. The research instrument used was a self regulated learning questionnaire with 30 statements and a mathematical communication ability test with 4 questions. The instrument has gone through construct, content, and empirical tests before being used. The reliability coefficient using Cronbach's Alpha formula for self regulated learning questionnaires and mathematical communication skills tests were obtained 0.893 and 0.667, respectively. Based on the calculations, the research data came from a normally distributed and homogeneous population. The result of this research is that there is a positive and significant influence between self regulated learning on the mathematical communication skills of class VII students at PJJ at SMP YWKA II Rawamangun. The coefficient of determination of 0.176 indicates that self regulated learning has an effect of 17.6% on students' mathematical communication skills. Y = 7.511 + 0.634X is the simple linear regression equation which means that if self regulated learning (X) increases by one point, mathematical communication skills (Y) will increase by 0.634.
