Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan menghasilkan multimedia interaktif dengan menerapkan Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning pada materi sistem pernapasan hewan untuk kelas XI yang layak digunakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan produk yaitu model 4D yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan. Model ini memiliki empat tahapan, yaitu: tahap define, tahap design, tahap development, dan tahap disseminate. Evaluasi pada penelitian ini dilakukan oleh para ahli (expert review) dan siswa kelas XII SMAN 94 Jakarta Barat. Pada tahap (expert review) oleh ahli materi diperoleh hasil sebesar 4,15 dan oleh ahli media sebesar 3,67 . bila dihitung rata-rata hasil expert review maka memperoleh hasil sebesar 3,91 dengan kategori baik. Hasil uji coba one to one memperoleh hasil sebesar 4,12 dengan kategori baik, kemudian hasil uji coba pengembangan memperoleh hasil sebesar 4,29 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif yang menerapkan cognitive theory of multimedia learning dapat dinyatakan baik dan efektif digunakan oleh siswa kelas XI SMAN 94 Jakarta Barat. This development research aims to produce interactive multimedia by applying Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning to material on animal respiratory systems for class XI that is suitable for use. This study uses a product development model, the 4D model proposed by Thiagarajan. This model has four stages, namely: the define stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the disseminate stage. The evaluation in this study was carried out by experts (expert review) and class XII students of SMAN 94 West Jakarta. At the stage (expert review) by material experts the results were 4.15 and by media experts 3.67. If the average expert review results are calculated, the results are 3.91 in the good category. The results of the one to one trial obtained results of 4.12 with good categories, then the results of development trials obtained results of 4.29 with a very good category. Based on this development research, it shows that interactive multimedia that applies cognitive theory of multimedia learning can be stated as good and effective for use by class XI students of SMAN 94 West Jakarta.
