Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh stres akademik terhadap intensitas bermain game online pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 124 responden yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Uji analisis statistik yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian ini adalah uji analisis regresi satu prediktor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai F hitung = 24,328 dan nilai p = 0,000, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara stres akademik terhadap intensitas bermain game online pada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinan (R square) = 0,166 artinya pengaruh stres akademik sebesar 16,6% terhadap intensitas bermain game online pada mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of academic stress on the intensity of playing online games for students at the State University of Jakarta. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a population of all students at the State University of Jakarta. The sample in this study amounted to 124 respondents obtained using purposive sampling technique. The statistical analysis test used to test the hypotheses of this study was a one predictor regression analysis test. The results of this study indicate the calculated F value = 24,328 and p value = 0.000, which means that there is a significant influence between academic stress on the intensity of playing online games with students. The results of this study indicate the value of the determinant coefficient (R square) = 0.166, which means that the influence of academic stress is 16.6% of the intensity of playing online games in Jakarta State University students.
