Abstract

Kata Kunci: Premi, Hasil Investasi, Risk Based Capital, Laba, dan Asuransi Syariah This study aims to identify whether there is an effect between premiums, investment returns and risk based capital on profits in sharia insurance entities in Indonesia 2019. The research method applied is quantitative and uses secondary data. The affordable population in this study were 45 sharia insurance entities registered with OJK 2019. The sample used was 40 entities by applying the simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique applied is descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression test, analysis requirements test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. From the results of multiple linear regression, the equation Y = 2.346 + 0.354 PREMIUM – 0.180 INVESTMENT RETURNS + 0.024 RBC. The results of the requirements analysis test showed that the data were normally distributed and linear. Then, the results of the classical assumption test also show that the data are free from symptoms of multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The results of the hypothesis test concluded that the first and fourth hypotheses were accepted while the second and third hypotheses were rejected. The conclusion in this study is that the premium has a positive and significant effect on profits. Meanwhile, investment returns and risk based capital have no significant effect on profits. Keywords: Premium, Investment Returns, Risk Based Capital, Profits, and Sharia Insurance
