Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan kontrol diri dengan kecanduan game online pada remaja saat pandemi covid 19 di DKI Jakarta. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan menyebarkan kepada 296 remaja usia 12-21 di DKI Jakarta yang bermain game online lebih dari 2 jam/hari saat pandemi covid 19. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Self Control Scale (SCS) dan Skala Kecanduan Game Online. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) adalah 0,528; p = 0,00 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bernilai positif antara kontrol diri dengan kecanduan game online pada remaja saat pandemi covid 19 di DKI Jakarta. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between self control and online game addiction in adoslescents during the covid 19 pandemic in DKI Jakarta. This research used quantitative methods with purposive sampling anda distributed to 296 adolescents aged 12-21 years in DKI Jakarta playing online games for more than 2 hours a day during the covid 19 pandemic. The research instrument is Self Control Scale (SCS) and online game addiction scale. This result gets the correlation coefficient value (r) is 0,528; p = 0,00 < 0,05. This shows that there is a positive relationship between self control and online game addiction in adolescents during the covid 19 pandemic in DKI Jakarta.
