Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran mata kuliah Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak menggunakan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL), serta menilai kelayakan dan efektivitas model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research & Development (R&D) yang dikompilasi dari model pengembangan Borg and Gall dan model Dick, Carey & Carey, dengan menerapkan model Problem-Based Learning sebagai strategi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mahasiswa Sangat Setuju bahwa prinsip-prinsip PBL relevan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak, dengan nilai rata-rata 4,16 pada skala Likert. Perbedaan hasil uji Pretest (33,00) dan Posttest (89,33) juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan penguasaan kompetensi secara signifikan dalam pembelajaran Rekayasa Perangkat Lunak (berdasarkan Paired Sampel t-Test), serta telah mencapai standar kompetensi minimum yang ditetapkan, yaitu >70 dalam skala 0-100. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Model, Problem Based Learning, Pemodelan Perangat Lunak, Research & Development, Kelayakan dan Efektivitas ********* This study aims to develop an instructional model for Software Engineering courses using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, as well as determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the learning model developed. The research uses the Research & Development (R&D) method which is compiled from the Borg and Gall development model and the Dick, Carey & Carey model, by applying the Problem Based Learning model as an instructional strategy. The results showed that students Strongly Agree that the relevant PBL principles are applied in Software Engineering courses, with an average score of 4.16 on a Likert scale. The difference in the results of the Pretest (33.00) and Posttest (89.33) also shows a significant increase in competency mastery in Software Engineering corse (based on Paired Sample t-Test), as well as achieving the minimum competency standard set, which is >70 in 0-100 scale.
