Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah selama ini kampung cyber sering diliput oleh berbagai media baik dalam bentuk berita ataupun film dokumenter dengan isi film yang selalu positif terhadap adanya internet. Namun , ada berbagai hal negatif yang bisa diungkap dan hal ini diharapkan bisa menjadi pembelajaran untuk lebih bijak dalam menggunakan internet. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Memproduksi sebuah film Dokumenter dengan penerapan unsur verbal kesaksian dan unsur visual observasionalisme proaktif sehingga mampu dan dapat diterima oleh masyarakat serta dapat membedakan dengan film dokumenter yang lain, mengungkap dampak negatif dan dampak positif yang terjadi pada kampung cyber serta mendukung program pemerintah yaitu “Internet Masuk Desa” . Penelitian dilakukan di RT 36 RW 09 Taman, Kelurahan Patehan, Kecamatan Kraton, Yogyakarta (Kampung Cyber). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode pengembangan film dokumenter lankah-langkahnya yaitu (1) Studi Pustaka (2) Seliminary Research (3) Pra Produksi (4) Produksi (5) Pasca Produksi. Dari langkah tersebut didapatkan hasil berupa film “Mengungkap Sisi Lain Kampung Cyber” dan sudah diuji, hasilnya bisa menginspirasi masyarakat dan bisa menjadi pengetahuan mengenai dampak yang terjadi. Hasil validasi ahli terhadap film dokumenter menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa film dokumenter yang dikembangkan sudah masuk kategori “Baik” dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,00 dan untuk rerata persentase sebesar 66,67%. The background of this research is for Kampung Cyber is often covered by the various media in the form of a news or documentary with the contents of the film always positive towards the presence of the internet. However, there are many negative things that could have been revealed and it is hoped could be learning to be more wise in using the internet. The purpose of this study was to produce a documentary film with the application of testimonies and the verbal element of the visual elements of proactive observasionalism so capable and acceptable to the community as well as able to differentiate with other documentary, revealing the impact of negative and positive impact that occurred at kampung cyber as well as supporting the Government program of "Internet Goes to Village". Research done at RT 36 RW 06 Kelurahan, Patehan Park, district of Kraton Yogyakarta (Kampung Cyber). The research method used documentary development method steps (1) Literature Study (2) Seliminary Research (3) Pre production (4) Production (5) Post Production. From the obtained results in the form of the movie "Mengungkap Sisi Lain Kampung Cyber" and already tested, the result could inspire the community and could be the knowledge of the impact of the case. The result of validation against the documentary developed “good” category and already entered with an average rating of 4,00 and the average for the percentage of 66,67 %.
