Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan kemampuan teknologi informasi pada peserta didik tunadaksa di Sekolah Luar Biasa DD1 Yayasan Pembinaan Anak Cacat Jakarta yang meliputi: 1) Alasan sekolah mengembangkan kemampuan teknologi informasi pada peserta didik tunadaksa di SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta, 2) Proses pelaksanaan pengembangan kemampuan teknologi informasi pada peserta didik tunadaksa di SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta, 3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kemampuan teknologi informasi pada peserta didik tunadaksa di SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, hasil wawancara guru dan kepala sekolah, dan hasil dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengembangan kemampuan teknologi informasi pada peserta didik tunadaksa di SLB D-D1 YPAC sudah cukup berkembang dengan baik seperti pada proses pelaksanaan yang sesuai dengan program yang dibuat dari sekolah, meskipun masih ada beberapa faktor yang menghambat dalam proses pengembangan kemampuan teknologi informasi pada peserta didik tunadaksa di SLB DD1 YPAC Jakarta. This study aims to identify and describe the development of information technology capability to the physical impairment students in the Special Education School D-D1 of Jakarta Foundation of disabilities children, which includes: 1) The reason of the school for developing the information technology capability of the students in SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta, 2) The process of developing the information technology capability of the students in the SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta, 3) The factors that influence the development of information technology capability in the students in the DD1 YPAC SLB D-D1 Jakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was done by observation technique, interview of teacher and principal, and the result of documentation. The data has been collected, then analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. The results of this study indicate that the development of information technology capability to the physical impairment students in SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta is quite developed well as in the implementation process in accordance with the program made from that school, although there are still some factors that inhibit the process of development of information technology capability to the phisical impairment students in SLB D-D1 YPAC Jakarta.
