Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kinerja guru di SMK Swasta Kecamatan Bogor Utara Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan dua variabel di dalamnya yaitu (X) komunikasi interpersonal sebagai variabel bebas dan (Y) kinerja guru sebagai variabel terikat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan hasil analisis studi korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMK Swasta di Kecamatan Bogor Utara Kota Bogor sebanyak 580 guru. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan teknik tersebut, ukuran sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 85 guru. Pengumpulan data untuk variabel (X) komunikasi interpersonal dan variabel (Y) kinerja guru menggunakan angket. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi product momentdidapati koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,58892 dan berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 6,639 ˃ ttabel sebesar 1,671. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kinerja guru di SMK Swasta Kecamatan Bogor Utara Kota Bogor. Adapun kontribusi yang diberikan oleh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kinerja guru adalah sebesar 34,68%. Kata kunci : Komunikasi Interpersonal, Kinerja Guru This study aims to know there is a relationship between headmasters interpersonal communication with teachers performance at Vocational High School North Bogor District, Bogor City. This research use quantitative with two variables there in, namely: (X) interpersonal communication as independent variable and (Y) teachers performance as the dependent variable. The method used is survey method with the results of the analysis of correlational studies. The population in this study are teachers at vocational high school in North Bogor District, Bogor City, there are 580 teachers. Samples were taken by using simple random sampling technique. The technique is based on the sample size used in this study as many as 85 teachers. Data collection for the variable (X) interpersonal communication and variable (Y) teachers performance using a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing is done by using product moment correlation formula and getting the correlation coefficient (r) value = 0,58892 and based on the results of hypothesis testing by using t-test obtained t for 6,639 ˃ 1,671 t-tables. By this research, we get a positive relation between interpersonal communication with teachers performance at Vocational High School North Bogor District, Bogor City. The contributions made by headmasters interpersonal communication on teachers performance, amounted to 34,68%. Keywords : Interpersonal Communication, Teachers Performance
