Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan masukan kepada pengambil keputusan terkait program evaluasi pembelajaran tematik di SDN se Kota Singkawang. Model evaluasi yang digunakan adalah CIPP. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut (1) Evaluasi konteks dalam pembelajaran tematik telah dilaksanakan oleh semua guru sekolah dasar karena adanya penerapan kurikulum 2013; (2) Evaluasi input menunjukkan kualitas guruguru sekolah dasar perlu ditingkatkan dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran tematik; (3) Evaluasi proses, menunjukkan perencanaan pengajaran guru bisa dikatagorikan baik, namun kebanyakan guru masih kurang memiliki kompetensi dalam menyampaikan materi. Kebanyakan mereka lebih cenderung menyajikan materi dalam bentuk konvensional; dan (4) Evaluasi produk menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas-tugas sekolah, namun untuk guru-guru masih harus diperbaiki kemampuan mereka dalam pembelajaran tematik, terutama bagaimana cara menghubungkan tema. Dari temuan-temuan itu, beberapa rekomendasi disampaikan pada pemangku kebijakan di sekolah agar mengundang para ahli, menemukan pengawas yang berkualitas untuk mengadakan workshop bagi guru-guru tentang media peembelajaran, penerapan metode pembelajaran dan teknik-teknik pembelajaran, terutama dalam mendukung pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar. ******** The purpose of this study aims to provide feedback to decision-makers regarding the program evaluation of thematic learning at all Government Elementary Schools in Singkawang. Evaluation model used is the CIPP model. The conclusion of this study is as follows: 1) The context evaluation on thematic learning has been conducted by all teachers due to the implementation of 2013 curriculum, (2) The input evaluation showed, the teachers quality on elementary school are also enriched in supporting the thematic learning; (3) The process evaluation showed that the teacher planning of instruction can be categoried into good-enough in thematic learning but all teachers are lack of competency in delivering the subject. Teaching-learning process is still using the conventional one; and (4) The evaluation product showed the increasing of students’ competency finishing the school’s task but all teachers should be improving their competency in thematic learning-process, mainly how to relate to the theme. The findings lead to the recommendation to school autorities have to invite experts from other institutions, seeking the supervisors providing the workshop for all teachers dealing with learning media, applying suitable methods, and techniques of teaching, especially in supporting the thematic learning at elementary school.
