Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of working mother's status and achievement motivation on the mathematics learning outcomes in grade 1 elementary school in Kebayoran Lama Subdistrict, South Jakarta. The population is 80 children and a sample of 50%. This research uses ex post facto method with 2x2 treatment design and data collection techniques with questionnaires and documentation. Research data on mathematics learning outcomes were obtained by analysis of variance (ANAVA), and tested by analysis of value test through normality test with Liliefors test and homogeneity test with Bartlett test. The results showed: (1) there were differences in mathematics learning outcomes with working mothers status and maternal status not working (2) there was an interaction of maternal status working with achievement motivation on mathematics learning outcomes (3) there were differences in mathematics learning outcomes that had high achievement motivation with working mother's status and low achievement motivation with working mother status (4) there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes that have high achievement motivation with maternal status not working. ******** Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh status ibu bekerja dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas 1 SD di Kecamatan Kebayoran Lama Jakarta Selatan. Populasi sebanyak 80 anak dan sampel 50%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan desain perlakuan 2x2 dan tehnik pengumpulan data dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian hasil belajar matematika diperoleh dengan analisis varian (ANAVA), dan diuji dengan analisis uji persyaratan melalui uji normalitas dengan uji Liliefors dan uji homogenitas dengan uji Bartlett. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang memiliki status ibu bekerja dan status ibu tidak bekerja (2) terdapat interaksi status ibu bekerja dengan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika (3) ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dengan status ibu bekerja dan motivasi berprestasi rendah dengan status ibu bekerja (4) ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dengan status ibu tidak bekerja.
