Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara anak usia 3-4 tahun dengan strategi pembelajaran IOC. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R and D) dari Borg and Gall yang dikolaborasikan dengan Step of System Approach Model of Educational Research and Development Dick and Carey dan model pengembangan Lee & Owen. Dalam penelitian ini telah dilakukan evaluasi formatif. Evaluasi dengan para pakar (materi, design instruksional, media dan bahasa), diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 4.32, evaluasi ono-to-one dengan 3 peserta didik mendapat skor nilai 3.92, hasil kesimpulan model pembelajaran layak digunakan, evaluasi small group dengan 8 peserta didik mendapat hasil nilai rata-rata 3.86 berarti model pembelajaran layak digunakan, dan evaluasi Field Trial (uji coba lapangan) dengan 15 peserta didik dihasilkan nilai rata-rata 4.47, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara anak usia 3-4 tahun dengan strategi pembelajaran IOC sangat baik. Hasil uji efektivitas terhadap model pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara anak usia 3-4 tahun dilakukan kepada anak dengan tes kinerja sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan strategi pembelajaran IOC (Inside, Outside, Circle) menggunakan Big Book yang hasilnya terdapat kenaikan sebesar 0.96 %. Dari hasil nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 3.51 dan hasil nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 4.47, ini berarti terjadi peningkatan pada pengembangan keterampilan berbicara anak usai 3-4 tahun. Dari hasil kenaikan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan strategi pembelajaran IOC dengan menggunakan media Big Book dapat meningkatkan pengembangan keterampilan berbicara dengan karakteristik dan indikator yang dikembangkan adalah 1) mengucapkan kata atau bunyi kata; 2) mengekspresikan ide atau gagasan; 3) mengungkapkan perasaan; 4) merubah nada, intonasi (tekanan suara) dalam memproduksi kata; 5) menerima dan menyampaikan informasi. Kata Kunci : Model pembelajaran, keterampilan berbicara, strategi pembelajaran kooperatif IOC, media Big Book. ********* ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to develop a speaking skill learning model for children aged 3-4 years using the IOC learning strategy. The methodology used in this research is research and development (R and D) from Borg and Gall in collaboration with the Steps of Approach Systems Educational Research and Development Model Dick and Carey and Lee & Owen development model. In this study, a formative evaluation was carried out. Evaluation with experts (materials, instructional design, media, and language), it was concluded that the speaking skill learning model was very good with an average value of 4.32, the evaluation of the success of 3 students got a score of 3.92, the conclusions of the learning model used, evaluation a small group with 8 students got an average result of 3.86 which means that the learning model is feasible to use, and the evaluation of the field trial with 15 students which resulted in an average value of 4.47, so it can be said that the learning model of speaking skills for children aged 3-4 years with a very good IOC learning strategy. The results of the effectiveness test on the speaking skill learning model for children aged 3-4 years were carried out with performance tests before and before learning with the IOC (Inside, Outside, Circle) learning strategy using Big Book which resulted in an increase of 0.96%. From the results of the average pre-test score of 3.51 and the results of the post-test average score of 4.47, this means that there is an increase in the development of children's speaking skills after 3-4 years. From these results it can be said that the IOC learning strategy approach using Big Book media can improve speaking skills with the characteristics and indicators developed are 1) saying words or sounds of words; 2) express ideas or ideas; 3) express feelings; 4) change the tone, intonation in producing words; 5) receive and convey information.
