Abstract

Model pembelajaran PAI berbasis BBL merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dilakukan untuk menciptakan siswa yang kritis dan religius dalam memahami konten PAI kearah modern-konstruktif sehingga fungsional dalam kehidupan saat ini. Model ini melatarbelakangi metode mengajar dengan menerapkan karakteristik ilmiah untuk memahami materi agama Islam yang bersifat normatif-tekstualis. Pembelajaran berbasis pada fakta atau fenomena yang dapat dijelaskan dengan logika atau penalaran tertentu yang diimbangi dengan penguatan aspek normativitas ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menghasilkan model dan produk model pembelajaran PAI berbasis BBL untuk siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes. Kelayakan model merujuk pada hasil penilaian teman sejawat, ahli materi, uji coba satu-satu, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) rancangan model pembelajaran PAI BBL yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti diadopsi dengan memodifikasi desain pengembangan Borg and Gall, Dick and Carey, Given dan Jensen. Draf model konseptual dikembangkan berdasarkan teori-teori yang relevan sehingga menghasilkan draf konseptual model, model prosedural 1, 2 dan 3. Proses ini menghasilkan model fisikal berupa silabus, RPP, petunjuk teknis, strategi, modul PAI, dan instrument berbentuk cetak disertai sintaks model; (2) kelayakan model pembelajaran PAI berbasis BBL menurut pakar baik dari teman sejawat, ahli materi, ahli desain grafis, ahli bahasa Indonesia dan ahli instrument menunjukkan kategori baik, sehingga model layak diaplikasikan. Menurut pengguna berdasarkan ujicoba secara one to one pada dua SD dengan subyek 12 siswa dan 2 orang guru menunjukkan kategori baik, dan ujicoba kelompok kecil yang dilakukan di tiga SD dengan subyek 30 siswa dan 4 orang guru menunjukkan model berada pada kategori baik sehingga dinyatakan layak untuk diujicobakan pada kelompok yang lebih besar; (3) berdasarkan hasil uji efektifitas, model pembelajaran PAI berbasis BBL menggunakan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan diperoleh N-gain sebesar 65,45 dengan kategori “cukup efektif”, peningkatan berpikir kritis diperoleh N-gain sebesar 56,19 dengan kategori “cukup efektif”, dan aktivitas respon siswa diperleh N-gain sebesar 77,99 dengan kategori “sangat efektif”, berdasarkan data ini terbukti model PAI berbasis BBL dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa SD kelas V dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional sehingga pembelajaran berlangsung aktif, efektif, menyenangkan dan bermakna. The BBL-based PAI learning model is an alternative to create critical and religious students in understanding PAI content towards a modern-constructive direction so that it is functional in today's life. This model is the background of the teaching method by applying scientific characteristics to understand Islamic religious material that is normative-textual in nature. Learning is based on facts or phenomena that can be explained by certain logic or reasoning which is balanced with strengthening the normative aspects of Islamic teachings. Data collection techniques in this study used test, interview and observation instruments. The feasibility of the learning model refers to peer assessment results, expert assessments, one-on-one trials, small group trials and effectiveness tests. The results showed that: (1) The design of the development of the Brain Based Learning-based PAI learning model developed by researchers was adopted by modifying the development designs of Borg and Gall, Dick and Carey, Given and Jensen. Conceptual models are developed based on relevant theories and produce conceptual drafts of models, procedural models 1, 2 and 3. This process produces physical models in the form of syllabus, RPP, technical instructions, strategies, PAI modules, and printed instruments along with learning model syntax; (2) The feasibility of PAI learning model based on Brain Based Learning according to experts who judge both from peers, material experts, image and graphic design experts, Indonesian linguists, knowledge instrument experts and critical thinking skills instrument experts show good categories, so the model is declared worthy to be applied. According to users based on one-to-one trials conducted in two elementary schools with subjects of 12 students and 2 teachers showing good categories, and small group trials conducted at three elementary schools with subjects of 30 students and 4 teachers showed that the model was in a good category and was considered worthy of trial in a larger group;(3) Based on the results of the pai learning model effectiveness test based on Brain Based Learning using experimental and control classes in improving pai knowledge obtained N-gain by 65.45 with the category "quite effective", the increase in critical thinking ability obtained N-gain by 56.19 with the category "quite effective", and the student response activity was 77.99 N-gain with the category "very effective". Based on this data, brain based learning model is proven to improve students' critical thinking knowledge and ability compared to conventional learning so that the learning process takes place actively, effectively, fun and meaningfully. Thus, students are created who are critical-religious in action (daily laziness) as well as in noble morals.
