Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik di SMA dalam memahami materi medan listrik yang abstrak karena minimnya alat peraga yang tersedia menjadi dasar dilakukannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat peraga medan listrik untuk mendukung discovery learning di SMA. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahapan, yaitu analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi dan angket. Pengembangan alat peraga medan listrik memiliki presentase kevalidan produk oleh validator ahli materi sebesar 80% dengan kategori sangat layak, validator ahli media sebesar 77,5% dengan kategori layak, dan validator ahli pembelajaran sebesar 82% dengan kategori sangat layak. Uji coba pada guru fisika SMA diperoleh presentase kevalidan sebesar 94% dan uji coba pada peserta didik diperoleh presentase kevalidan sebesar 83,2% dengan kategori sangat layak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat peraga medan listrik untuk mendukung discovery learning di SMA telah memenuhi kriteria kelayakan penggunaan alat peraga sebagai alat bantu dalam proses pembelajaran medan listrik. The low ability of students in high school in understanding abstract electric field material due to the lack of available teaching aids is the basis for conducting this research. This study aims to develop an electric field teaching aid to support discovery learning in high school. This research method uses the ADDIE development research method which includes five stages, namely analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and questionnaires. The development of electric field teaching aids has a percentage of product validity by material expert validators of 80% in the very appropriate category, media expert validators by 77.5% in the appropriate category, and learning expert validators by 82% in the very feasible category. Trials on high school physics teachers obtained a validity percentage of 94% and trials on students obtained a validity percentage of 83.2% with a very feasible category. It can be concluded that the electric field teaching aids to support discovery learning in high school have met the eligibility criteria for using teaching aids as a tool in the electric field learning process.
