Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan orientasi Federasi Serikat Buruh Demokratik Kerakyatan (F-SEDAR) dalam upayanya memperjuangkan hak buruh PT. Alpen Food Industry. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan strategi yang dilakukan F-SEDAR agar dapat mencapai orientasinya tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 5 orang yang terdiri dari Ketua F-SEDAR, Koordinator Bidang Kampanye dan Juru Bicara F-SEDAR, Sekretaris F-SEDAR, Ketua serta salah satu anggota Serikat Gerakan Buruh Bumi Indonesia PT. Alpen Food Industry (SGBBI PT. AFI). Data sekunder dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui beberapa sumber seperti foto, artikel dan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan kasus pelanggaran hak buruh PT. AFI. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini dilaksanakan sejak Maret sampai dengan April 2021. Adapun lokasi penelitian ini yaitu Aula SEDAR yang terletak di Telajung, Kecamatan Cikarang Barat, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat. Data dalam penelitian ini kemudian dianalisis secara sosiologis dengan menggunakan teori gerakan buruh Selig Perlman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gerakan F-SEDAR berorientasi pada pemenuhan hak normatif para buruh yang meliputi status pekerjaan tetap, upah yang layak, serta perbaikan kondisi kerja sesuai dengan standar keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja. Selain itu, F-SEDAR juga berorientasi pada pembentukan pionir dalam gerakan buruh agar tercipta karakteristik buruh yang militan dan konsisten dalam memperjuangkan hak-haknya. Adapun strategi gerakan yang dilakukan F-SEDAR untuk mencapai orientasinya tersebut terdiri dari perundingan bersama, pelaporan kasus perselisihan kepentingan, pelaporan kasus pelanggaran norma, aksi mogok kerja dan demonstrasi, kampanye, serta pendidikan buruh. This study aims to describe the orientation of the Federasi Serikat Buruh Demokratik Kerakyatan (F-SEDAR) in their efforts to fight for the PT. Alpen Food Industry workers' rights. In addition, this study also aims to explain the strategy carried out by F-SEDAR to reach their orientations. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data in this research were obtained through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this research were five people consisting of Chairman of F-SEDAR, Campaign Coordinator and Spokeswoman of F-SEDAR, Secretary of F-SEDAR, Chairman and one member of the Serikat Gerakan Buruh Bumi Indonesia PT. Alpen Food Industry (SGBBI PT. AFI). The secondary data in this research were obtained from various sources such as photos, articles, and documents related to the PT. AFI workers’ rights violations cases. Data collection in this study was carried out from March to April 2021. The location of this research is SEDAR Hall which is located in Telajung, West Cikarang District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The data in this study were analyzed sociologically using Selig Perlman’s theory of the Labor Movement. The results of the study show that F-SEDAR movement is oriented towards fulfilling the normative rights of workers including permanent employment status, decent wages, and improving working conditions according to Occupational Safety and Health standards. In addition, F-SEDAR movement is also oriented towards the formation of pioneers in the labor movement in order to build the characteristics of workers who are militant and consistent in fighting for their rights. As for the movement strategy carried out by F-SEDAR to reach their orientations were consists of collective bargaining, reporting the disputes of interest cases, reporting the norms violations cases, strikes and demonstrations, campaigns, and education for the workers.
