Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang kontrol orang tua terhadap perilaku merokok remaja di Kp.Pisangan Bulak Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RT.08,09 dan 12/RW.05. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, angket tertutup, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja yang memiliki perilaku merokok usia 12-17 tahun, orang tua dan masyarakat sekitar Kp. Pisangan Bulak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua di Kp.Bulak yang memberikan kebebasan sepenuhnya kepada anak dengan kontrol sosial yang minim terhadap anak usia 12-17 tahun yang merupakan masa remaja yang penuh gejolak jiwa dapat menyebabkan perilaku penyimpangan pada anak, salah satunya adalah perilaku merokok. perilaku merokok yang dilakukan oleh remaja tidak terlepas dari kontrol orang tuanya. Jika kontrol orang tua itu sendiri lemah dapat menyebabkan anak berperilaku menyimpang dan sebaliknya jika kontrol orang tua kuat terhadap anaknya maka anak tersebut cenderung tidak melakukan perilaku menyimpang seperti merokok. ****************** The research conducted in RT.08,09 dan 12/RW.05. The research method use in descriptive kuantitative method, with data collection techniques through observation, closed question, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this research are teenangers who have smoking behavior and parents and the society Kp.Pisangan Bulak. .Parents in Kp.Pisangan Bulak who give full freedom to children with minimal social control over children aged 12-17 years who are teenagers who are full of mental turmoil can cause deviant behavior in children, one of which is smoking behavior. Smoking behavior carried out by adolescents cannot be separated from the control of their parents. If the parental control is strong over the child, the child is less likely to angage in deviant behavior such as smoking.
