Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah media cetak berupa Buku Panduan Budidaya Hidroponik bagi Calon Budidayawan. Buku panduan yang dikembangkan dapat dimanfaatkan bagi calon budidayawan dan masyarakat umum dalam pengembangan hidroponik. Pengembangan buku panduan ini menggunakan model pengembangan produk yaitu Rapid Prototyping. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, angket dan observasi. Evaluasi dalam penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan pendekatan evaluasi Tessmer, yang terdiri dari self-evaluation, expert review (ahli materi dan ahli media), one to one dan small group. Hasil dari expert reviews ialah sebesar 3,53 dengan kategori Sangat Baik, selanjutnya mulai diuji coba kepada pengguna pada tahap one to one dengan nilai 3,55. Penilaian termasuk dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Tahap selanjutnya small group mendapatkan nilai 3,64 dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Secara keseluruhan buku panduan dinyatakan memiliki kualitas yang baik. Sehingga buku panduan ini mampu memudahkan bagi calon budidayawan dalam pengembangan hidroponik. This research, development was intended to produce a printed media in the form of a guidebook for prospective hydroponic cultivation. A guidebook developed can be used for prospective cultivation and the general public in the development of hydroponics. The development of this manual uses a product development model, namely Rapid Prototyping. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviews, questionnaires, and observations. The research had a quantitative method. Evaluation in this development research uses the Tessmer evaluation approach, which consists of self-evaluation, expert review (material experts and media experts), one-to-one, and small group. The results from the expert reviews were 3.53 in the Very Good category, then started to be tested on users at the one to one stage with a value of 3.55. The assessment is included in the Very Good category. The next stage is the small group getting a score of 3.64 in the Very Good category. Overall the manual is stated to be of good quality. So that this guidebook is able to make it easier for prospective cultivators in hydroponic development.
