Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya terhadap perilaku delinkuensi remaja di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah convenience sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 110 remaja yang berusia antara 14 sampai 17 tahun dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Pengukuran variabel konformitas teman sebaya dilakukan menggunakan instrumen yang di adaptasi dari Peer Pressure Vignettes oleh Darcy A. Santor, Deanna Messervey, dan Vivek Kusumakar (2000) dan variabel perilaku delinkuensi remaja dilakukan menggunakan instrument yang di adaptasi dari Deviant Behavior Variety Scale (DBVS) oleh Sanches (2016). Metode pengolahan data dalam pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana dengan menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics versi 26.0. Berdasarkan hasil diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya terhadap perilaku delinkuensi remaja dengan koefisien regresi bersifat positif yaitu 1.520. Hal ini menandakan jika remaja memiliki konformitas teman sebaya yang tinggi, maka dapat mengakibatkan meningkatnya perilaku delinkuensi pada remaja tersebut. Kata kunci: konformitas teman sebaya, perilaku delinkuensi remaja, remaja *ABSTRACT* This study aims to examine the effect of peer conformity on juvenile delinquency behavior in the Jabodetabek. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sampling technique used in this study is convenience sampling with the number of respondents as many as 110 teenagers aged between 14 to 17 years and domiciled in Jabodetabek. Measurement of peer conformity variables was carried out using an instrument adapted from Peer Pressure Vignettes by Darcy A. Santor, Deanna Messervey, and Vivek Kusumakar (2000) and adolescent delinquency behavior variables were carried out using an instrument adapted from the Deviant Behavior Variety Scale (DBVS) by Sanches (2016). The data processing method in testing the hypothesis is done by using a simple linear regression analysis test using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26.0. Based on the results obtained that there is an effect of peer conformity on juvenile delinquency behavior with a positive regression coefficient of 1,520. This indicates that if adolescents have high peer conformity, it can lead to increased delinquency behavior in these adolescents.
