Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembentukan argot dalam video animasi berbahasa Prancis ditinjau dari register argot. Adapun teori yang digunakan untuk proses pembentukan argot adalah teori Goudaillier, yang melingkupi: metafora, metonimi, emprunt, troncation, suffixation, verlan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber data dari lima video animasi Prancis pada kanal Youtube ‘Colas Bim’. Sedangkan data yang digunakan adalah data kata argot yang terdapat pada monolog atau dialog dari sumber data. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada teknik dari Miles, Huberman dan Saldana yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 20 data yang termasuk kata argot dalam sumber data, adapun banyak data yang termasuk kata argot ini memiliki proses pembentukan argot yang berbeda, yaitu 1 data dalam bentuk metafora, 1 data dalam bentuk metonimi, 5 data dalam bentuk emprunt, 4 data dalam bentuk troncation, 7 data dalam bentuk suffixation, 2 data dalam bentuk verlan. This study aims to gain an description of the process of argot formation in French-language animated videos in terms of the argot register. The theory used for the argot formation process is Goudaillier's theory, which includes: metaphor, metonymy, emprunt, troncation, suffixation, verlan. This study uses data sources from five French animated videos on Youtube channel 'Colas Bim'. The data is the argot word contained in the monologue or dialogue from the data source. The approach used in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Data were collected using reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study refers to the techniques of Miles, Huberman and Saldana, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that there are 20 datas including the word argot in the data source, while many data including the word argot have a different process of forming argot, namely 1 datas in the form of metaphor, 1 datas in the form of metonymy, 5 datas in the form of emprunt, 4 datas in the form of troncation, 7 datas is in the form of suffixation, 2 datas is in the form of verlan.
