Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dalam menyelesaikan tugas kuliah daring pada mahasiswa di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan memperoleh 260 responden dengan kriteria mahasiswa/i Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun yang sedang menjalani perkuliahan daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data pada penelitian ini merupakan hasil adaptasi dari Tuckman Procrastination Scale (ɑ=0,879) yang dikembangkan oleh Tuckman B.W dan General Self-Efficacy Scale (ɑ=0,838) yang dikembangkan oleh Matthias Jerusalem dan Ralf Schwarzer yang mengacu dengan teori Bandura. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh negatif signifikan antara self efficacy terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dalam menyelesaikan tugas kuliah daring pada mahasiswa di masa pandemi Covid-19. Pengaruh self efficacy sebesar 4,4% terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Melalui hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat self efficacy maka akan semakin rendah tingkat prokrastinasi akademik. *ABSTRACT* The aim of this research is to examine the effect of self efficacy on academic procrastination in completing online lecture assignments for college students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and obtained 260 respondents with the criteria of college students in Indonesia with an age range of 18-25 years who are undergoing online lectures during the covid-19 pandemic. The instrument used for data collection in this study is the adaptation of the Tuckman Procrastination Scale (ɑ=0,879) which was developed by Tuckman. B.W and General Self-Efficacy Scale (ɑ=0,838) which was developed by Matthias Jerusalem and Ralf Schwarzer based on the earlier scale of Bandura. The data analysis was performed using regression analysis. The result of this research showed a significant negative influence between self efficacy on academic procrastination regard tasks on college students during the covid-19 pandemic. The effect of self efficacy was 4,4% on academic procrastination. This means that the higher level of self efficacy, the lower level of academic procrastination.
