Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Kesepian merupakan pengalaman tidak menyenangkan yang dirasakan individu dikerenakan kurangnya kualitas ataupun kuantitas hubungan dengan orang lain dibandingkan dengan yang diharapkan. Mahasiswa yang berada pada masa transisi dari remaja menuju dewasa sering kali merasakan kesepian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi perlakuan berbentuk e-journaling berbasis penerimaan dan komitmen diri terhadap kesepian pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian within subject one group pre-test post-test. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesepian dalam penelitian ini yaitu 6-Item De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 21 orang mahasiswa. Perlakuan ¬e-journaling dirancang sesuai dengan proses acceptance and commitment yang harus diisi oleh partisipan selama 3 minggu. Peneliti mengirimkan pesan yang berisi link untuk mengisi e-journaling kepada partisipan melalui official account LINE. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukan Z= -0,182, p = 0.856 > α = 0,05, artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat kesepian pada mahasiswa antara sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan berbentuk ¬e-journaling berbasis penerimaan dan komitmen diri. Kata kunci: perlakuan psikologi, journaling, penerimaan dan komitmen, kesepian *ABSTRACT* Loneliness is an unpleasant experience felt by individuals because of the lack of quality or quantity of relationships with other people compared to what is expected. Students who are in the transition from adolescence to adulthood often feel lonely. This study aims to evaluate the treatment through e-journaling based on acceptance and commitment to students' loneliness. This study uses a quantitative pre-experimental method with a research design within subject one group pre-test post-test. The instrument used to measure loneliness in this study is the 6-Item De Jong Gierveld Loneliness Scale. Research participants consisted of 21 students. The e-journaling intervention is designed according to the acceptance and commitment process that must be filled in by the participants for 3 weeks. The researcher sent a message containing a link to fill out e-journaling to participants through the official LINE account. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a value of Z= -0,182, p value = 0.856 > α = 0,05, meaning that there was no difference in the level of loneliness in students between before and after giving treatment of e-journaling based on acceptance and commitment.
