Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelecehan seksual terhadap self-esteem pada pekerja perempuan di Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 142 pekerja perempuan. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Sexual Experiences Questionnaire-Revised (SEQ-form W) untuk mengukur variabel pelecehan seksual dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) untuk mengukur variabel self-esteem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan berkoefisien regresi negatif antara variabel pelecehan seksual dan variabel self-esteem pada pekerja perempuan di Jabodetabek. Pengaruh yang diberikan oleh pelecehan seksual terhadap self-esteem adalah sebesar 6,5% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel atau faktor lain. *ABSTRACT* This research aims to knowing the effect of sexual harassment towards self-esteem on female workers in Jabodetabek. This research conducted using quantitative approached and using the sampling technique is purposive sampling. Respondents in this research was 142 female workers. The instruments used to measure the variables in this research were Sexual Experiences Questionnaire-Revised (SEQ-form W) scale for measuring the variable of sexual harassment and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) for measuring the variable of self-esteem. The result showed that there was a significant effect and negative regression coefficient between sexual harassment and self-esteem on female workers in Jabodetabek. The effect given by sexual harassment to self-esteem is 6,5% and the rest is effect by other variables or factors.
