Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Kahoot terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta terkait subtopik Schule. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta pada akhir semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2020/2021 bulan Desember 2020 sampai bulan April 2021. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Usaha Perjalanan Wisata sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas X Perhotelan 2 sebanyak 36 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel (1,6868708 > 1,667) dan dari uji gain <g> diperoleh peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman kosakata siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol (0,775 > 0,724). Dari hasil penghitungan dapat dikatakan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang lebih baik pada penggunaan media Kahoot terhadap penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman subtopik Schule siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta. Kata kunci: Media Kahoot, Penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jerman, Subtopik Schule.*****This study aims to determine the effect of the use Kahoot media on German vocabulary with subtopic Schule for 10th Grade Students in Vocational High School 27 Jakarta. This research was conducted at Vocational High School 27 Jakarta at the end of the first semester of the 2020/2021 school year which was from December 2020 to April 2021. The method used in this research is quantitative method with a pre-test post-test control group design. The sample of this study were 72 students, which were divided into 36 students of the X Travel Business as experimental class and 36 students of the X Hospitality 2 as control class. From the results of this study, it was obtained that t-count was greater than t-table (1.6868708 > 1.667) and from the gain <g> test, it was obtained that the average increase in vocabulary understanding of the experimental class students was higher than the control class (0.775 > 0.724). From the calculation results, it shows that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that there is a better effect on the use of Kahoot media on German vocabulary with subtopic Schule for 10th Grade Students in Vocational High School 27 Jakarta.
