Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk berupa e-book berbasis saintifik pada materi siklus hidup hewan untuk peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan yang menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan rincian sebagai berikut: (1) Analisis; (2) Desain; (3) Pengembangan; (4) Implementasi; dan (5) Evaluasi. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN Kebon Baru 09. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi. Responden dalam pengembangan ini di antaranya ahli media, ahli materi, ahli Bahasa dan peserta didik kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelayakan e-book berbasis pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase sebesar 96,25% dari ahli media, 88,75% dari ahli materi, dan 92,5% dari ahli bahasa dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil dari uji coba kepada peserta didik dengan tahapan one to one evaluation sebesar 91,25% dan tahap small group evaluation sebesar 98,52% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Berdasarkan hasil dari para ahli dan uji coba kepada peserta didik maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-book berbasis pendekatan saintifik ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar IPA materi siklus hidup hewan bagi peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. This research and development aims to produce a product in the form of a scientific-based e-book on animal life cycle material for fourth grade elementary school students. This type of research is research and development that uses the ADDIE development model with the following details: (1) Analysis; (2) Design; (3) Development; (4) Implementation; and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at SDN Kebon Baru 09. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and observations. Respondents in this development include media experts, material experts, language experts and fourth grade students. The results showed the feasibility of e-books based on a scientific approach with a percentage of 96.25% from media experts, 88.75% from material experts, and 92.5% from linguists in the "very good" category. The results of the trial to students with the one to one evaluation stage were 91.25% and the small group evaluation stage was 98.52% with the "very good" category. Based on the results of the experts and trials to students, it can be concluded that this e-book based on a scientific approach is very feasible to be used as an alternative science teaching material for animal life cycle material for fourth grade elementary school students
