Abstract

*ABSTRAK* Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran fear of missing out (FoMO) pada remaja akhir. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 215 remaja yang berusia 18-21 tahun dan aktif menggunakan media sosial. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Fear of Missing Out Scale (Pzyblysli et al., 2013). Pengolahan data menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistic 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan FoMO tingkat sedang pada 154 reponden yang didominasi oleh perempuan. Selain itu, terdapat juga kecenderungan FoMO berada di kategori sedang dilihat dari berbagai faktor seperti jenis kelamin, usia, domisili, durasi menggunakan media sosial, dan keterssediaan kuota internet dengan baik Kata kunci: fear of missing out, remaja akhir *ABSTRACT* This study aims to describe the fear of missing out (FoMO) in late adolescence. The researcher used a quantitative descriptive method with accidental sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to 215 teenagers aged 18-21 years and actively using social media. The instrument used in this study is the Fear of Missing Out Scale (Pzyblysli et al., 2013). Data processing using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 for windows. The results of this study indicate that there is a moderate level of FoMO trend in 154 respondents, which is dominated by women. In addition, there is also a tendency for FoMO to be in the moderate category seen from various factors such as gender, age, domicile, duration of using social media, and good internet quota availability.
