Abstract

--ABSTRACT-- This study aims to determine the effect of self-compassion towards the resilience of female breadwinners. This study uses quantitative methods with statistical regression analysis. The measuring instruments used in this study were the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) by Neff (2003) and Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) by Connor & Davidson (2003). The sample in this study amounted to 272 female breadwinners through purposive sampling technique. From the results of the hypothesis test, the p value < 0.05, which means there is a significant effect between self-compassion and the resilience of female breadwinners. Self-compassion proved to have an effect about 11.3% towards the resilience of female breadwinners.
