Abstract
Penggunaan materi ajar berbasis bahan otentik memiliki manfaat dalam pembelajaran Terjemahan-Mandarin Indonesia (TMI). Berdasarkan manfaat tersebut serta pengalaman alumni Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Jakarta (PSPBM UNJ) di dunia kerja tentang pentingnya kemampuan menerjemahkan, penelitian mengenai kebutuhan materi ajar berbasis bahan otentik dalam pembelajaran TMI perlu untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi: (1) materi ajar yang digunakan pada mata kuliah TMI PSPBM UNJ; (2) kebutuhan materi ajar TMI berbasis bahan otentik pada mata kuliah TMI PSPBM UNJ; (3) bahan otentik yang dibutuhkan pada mata kuliah TMI PSPBM UNJ. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa kuesioner dan wawancara. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya mengenai kebutuhan materi ajar terjemahan berbasis bahan otentik yang digunakan pada mata kuliah TMI PSPBM UNJ. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen pengampu mata kuliah TMI, stakeholder, dan alumni PSPBM UNJ. Hasil penelitian ini memaparkan materi ajar yang digunakan pada mata kuliah TMI, bagaimana kebutuhan materi ajar TMI berbasis bahan otentik,sertamateri otentik yang dibutuhkanpada mata kuliah TMI menurut alumni PSPBM UNJ, stakeholder dan dosen pengampu mata kuliah TMI. The use of authentic materials has benefits in Chinese-Indonesian Translation (TMI) learning. Based on its usefulness and the experience of the Department of Chinese Education of State University of Jakarta’s (PSPBM UNJ) alumni on the importance of translation skills in the workplace, the writer believes that it is necessary to conduct needs analysis and study about teaching materials based on authentic materials in TMI learning. This study is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. The purpose of this study is to identify: the kind of teaching materials used in the TMI course in PSPBM UNJ, the importance of the authentic materials needed in TMI course, and to identify the authentic materials needed in TMI course. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires and interviews. This study is limited to the needs of translation teaching materials of authentic materials that used in TMI courses. The subjects of this study are TMI’s lecturers, stakeholders and PSPBM UNJ’s alumni. The results of this study describe some kinds of teaching materials used in TMI course, the needs of authentic materials for TMI course, and the authentic materials needed in TMI courses according to PSPBM UNJ’s alumni, stakeholders and TMI’s lecturers.
