Abstract

ABSTRAK Abstrak: Pengelolaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Di Kawasan Perkotaan (studi kasus di Kecamatan Pondok Gede) Ruang terbuka hijau area atau lahan terbuka dan bisa dinikmati oleh umum yang ditumbuhi oleh vegetasi baik ditanam atau tumbuh sendiri. Salah satu fungsi dari ruang terbuka hijau adalah fungsi hidrologi atau penyerap air. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Pondok Gede Kota Bekasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk atau karakteristik ruang terbuka hijau di kecamatan Pondok Gede dan upaya pengelolaan ruang terbuka hijau di Kecamatan Pondok Gede. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan data kuantitatif. Metode kualitatif yang digunakan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kakteristik ruang terbuka hijau di Kecamatan Pondok Gede hanya memiliki fungsi utama sebagai fungsi sosial dan fungsi ekologis. Pengelolaan ruang terbuka hijau yang dimulai dari tahap perencanaan sangat optimal dalam penyediaan ruang terbuka hijau akan tetapi pada pelaksanaannya, pemanfaatan dan pengawasanya masih sangat rendah atau kurang. Pada perencanaan semua Perda terkait penyediaan RTH sudah disiapkan pemerintah, pada tahap pelaksanaan dilapangan banyak hambatan yang terjadi seperti terbatasnya lahan yang ada, sistim drainase yang kurang bagus dan pengelolaan sampah di perumahan. Tahap selanjutnya pemanfaatan, pada tahap ini masyarakat hanya menganggap bahwa rth hanyalah taman dan belum mengetahui manfaat lain dari RTH. Ditahap terakir yaitu pengawasan, tidak adanya UPTD di Kecamatan Pondok Gede. Keterlibatan masyarakat sangat penting dalam mengelola RTH karena masyarat yang bersentuhan langsung dengan RTH. Karakteristik rth Kecamatan Pondok Gede baru sebagai fungsi utama sosial dan ekologis. Pengelolaan rth di kecamatan Pondok Gede belum maksimal, masih banyak yang harus di perbaiki. One of the functions of green open space is the function of hydrology or water absorbent. This research was conducted in Pondok Gede District of Bekasi City. The purpose of this study is to find out the shape or characteristics of green open space in Pondok Gede sub-district and efforts to manage green open space in Pondok Gede Subdistrict. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a quantitative data approach. Qualitative methods are used by conducting observations, interviews and documentation. The results of the study are known that the characteristic green open space in Pondok Gede Subdistrict only has the main function as a social function and ecological function has not touched the hydrological function. The management of green open space starting from the planning stage is optimal in the provision of green open space but in its implementation, utilization and supervision are still very low or less. In the planning of all regulations related to the provision of RTH has been prepared by the government, at the implementation stage on the ground many obstacles that occur such as limited existing land, poor drainage system and waste management in housing. The next stage of utilization, at this stage the community only considers that rth is just a park and does not yet know the other benefits of RTH. At the last stage is supervision, the absence of UPTD in Pondok Gede Subdistrict. Community involvement is very important in managing RTH because people are in direct contact with RTH. Characteristics of the new Pondok Gede Subdistrict as the main social and ecological function. Rth management in Pondok Gede sub-district has not been maximal, there is still much to be improved.
