Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara supervisi kepala sekolah dengan disiplin kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Pasar Rebo Jakarta Timur. Variabel yang diteliti adalah supervisi kepala sekolah sebagai variable bebas (variable X) dan Disiplin Kerja guru sebagai variable terikat (variable Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 240 guru, dengan total sampel sebanyak 71 guru yang tersebar di beberapa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kecamatan Pasar Rebo Jakarta Timur.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yaitu uji korelasi product moment. Dari hasil uji hipotesis, diperoleh nilai signifikan korelasi sebesar 0.000 dimana hasil terebut lebih kecil dari 0.05. Sedangkan nilai korelasi (rxy) kedua variable sebesar 0.502. Dari koefesien determinasi, supervisi kepala sekolah memberikan kontribusi sebesar 25.2% disiplin kerja guru. Dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara variabel supervisi kepala sekolah dengan disiplin kerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa semakin baik pelaksanaan supervisi kepala sekolah, maka akan semakin baik disiplin kerja guru. This study aims to determine the relationship between the supervision of the principal and the work discipline of the SMP Negeri teachers in Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta. The variables studied were the supervision of the principal as the independent variable (variable X) and the work discipline of the teacher as the dependent variable (variable Y). This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study was 240 teachers, with a total sample of 71 teachers spread across several junior high schools in Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis was the product moment correlation test. From the results of hypothesis testing, obtained a significant correlation value of 0.000 where the result is smaller than 0.05. While the correlation value (rxy) of the two variables is 0.502. From the coefficient of determination, the principal's supervision contributed 25.2% of teacher work discipline. It can be concluded that the results of the study indicate that there is a positive relationship between the variables of the principal's supervision and the teacher's work discipline. Based on these results, it can be seen that the better the implementation of the principal's supervision, the better the teacher's work discipline
