Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-care dan professional quality of life (ProQOL) pada Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) di DKI Jakarta. Populasi penelitian merupakan Guru BK pada jenjang SMP, SMA, dan SMK. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 185 Guru BK yang diperoleh dengan menggunakkan teknik accidental sampling. Penelitian menggunakkan metode korelasional dengan alat ukur berupa skala kuisioner professional quality of life scale dan professional self-care scale. Pada variabel self-care, 91% Guru BK memiliki tingkat self-care tinggi. Pada variabel ProQOL, diperoleh kategori sedang pada compassion satisfaction (CS), serta kategori rendah pada burnout (BO) dan secondary traumatic stress (STS). Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara self-care dan CS, sedangkan terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara self-care dan BO, tetapi tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara self-care dan STS. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara self-care dan professional quality of life, melainkan hanya terdapat hubungan antara self-care dengan CS dan BO pada guru BK di DKI Jakarta. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-care and professional quality of life among Guidance and Counseling (GC) teachers in DKI Jakarta. The population of this research is GC teachers who teach at Junior High School, High School, and Vocational School. The research sample amounted to 185 GC teachers who were obtained by using accidental sampling technique. This study uses a correlational research method with a questionnaire scale measuring instrument, namely the professional quality of life scale and the professional self-care scale. In the self-care variable, 91% of GC teachers have a high level of self-care. Then on the professional quality of life variable, the results obtained are the moderate category on compassion satisfaction (CS), and a low category on burnout (BO) and secondary traumatic stress (STS). The results of the correlation test showed that there was a significant positive relationship between self-care and CS, while there was a significant negative relationship between self-care and BO, but there was no significant relationship between self-care and STS, so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between self-care and professional quality of life, but there is only a relationship between self-care with CS and BO among GC teachers in DKI Jakarta.
