Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Evaluasi Kinerja Pengawas Seka/ah Menengah Pertama pada Dinas Pendidikan Kata Bengkulu yang terdiri dari: (1) menyusun perencanaan pengawasan, (2) melaksanakan perencanaan pengawasan, (3) evaluasi pe/aksanaan perencanaan supervisi, dan (4) pembinaan dan pelatihan profesional guru dan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kabupaten dan kota di Kata Bengku/u Provinsi Bengkulu. Subyek penelitian adalah pengawas SMA di Kata Bengkulu Provinsi Bengkulu (29 orang). Metode penelitiannya adalah metode Evaluasi Kinerja Model Armstrong dan Baron. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kinerja pengawas dalam menyusun perencanaan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, (2) kinerja pengawas dalam melaksanakan perencanaan pengawasan dalam kategori baik, (3) kinerja pengawas dalam mengevaluasi produk dari pelaksanaan perencanaan supervisi dalam kategori cukup, dan (4) kinerja supervisor dalam pembinaan dan pelatihan profesional guru atau kepala seko/ah di Kata Bengkulu Provinsi Bengku/u termasuk kategori kurang baik. Kata kunci: kinerja, pelaksanaan perencanaan, evaluasi dan pelatihan ********** The objective of study is to find out the performance evaluation of middle school supervisor in the department of education on Bengkulu City, Bengkulu Province that consists of (I) composing supervisory planning, (2) carrying out the supervisory planning, (3) evaluating the implementation of the supervisory planning, and (4) guiding and training of professional teachers and school principals. The research was conducted in regencies and cities in Bengkulu City Bengku/u province. The subject of research is senior high school supervisor in Bengkulu City Bengkulu province (29 persons). The method of research is mixed method. The data were co/ected by using observation, interview, questionnaire and documents. The results of research shows that: (I) the performance of supervisors in composing plannings is very good category, (2) the performance of supervisors in carrying out sepervisory planning is good category, (3) the performance of supervisors in evalauating the product of implementation of the supervisory planning is fair category, and (4) the performance of supervisors in guiding and training of professional teachers or school principals in Bengkulu City Bengkulu province is poor category.
