Abstract

Kemampuan logika matematika dimiliki oleh setiap manusia termasuk anak-anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena melihat masih rendahnya kemampuan logika matematika anak terutama dalam mengenal bilangan, pengukuran dan analisis sebab akibat. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan logika matematika anak sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan dan usianya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan secara kolaboratif yang datanya dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrument ceklis dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan logika matematika mengalami peningkatan dari 30,3% menjadi 84,84%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain pasir dan air dapat meningkatkan kemampuan logika matematika anak usia dini khususnya dalam mengenal bilangan, pengukuran, dan analisis sebab akibat. The ability of mathematical logic is owned by every human being, including children. This research was conducted due to the fact that children's mathematical logic skills are still low, especially in recognizing numbers, measuring, cause and effect analyze. The purpose of this research is to improve children's mathematical logic ability according to their developmental stage and age. The research method used is collaborative action research where data is collected using checklists instruments and documentation. The results showed that the ability of mathematical logic has increased from 30.3% to 84.84%. This shows that playing sand and water activities can improve the mathematical logic ability of early childhood, especially in recognizing numbers, measuring, cause and effect analyze.
