Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris mengenai persepsi orang tua tentang pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 50 orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini dan menyekolahkan anaknya di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik klaster acak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistika deskripsi. Hasil penelitian ini secara keseluruhan menunjukan bahwa persepsi orang tua tentang pendidikan seks pada anak usia dini di Kecamatan Tambun Selatan, Kabupaten Bekasi berada dalam kategori “cukup baik”. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah diperoleh dari 50 orang tua menunjukan 64% orang tua berada pada kategori cukup baik. Selanjutnya ada 26% orang tua berada pada kategori baik. Adapun ada sebanyak 10% orang tua berada pada kategori kurang. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua sudah cukup baik dalam mendeskripsikan makna pendidikan seks, serta menganggap pendidikan seks untuk anak sangatlah penting dan juga menganggap pendidikan seks perlu dikenalkan serta diberikan kepada anak usia dini. Adapun temuan lain yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat beberapa orang tua yang belum dapat memberikan pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak dengan baik, sehingga banyak orang tua yang membutuhkan pengetahuan tentang pendidikan seks pada anak untuk memudahkan mereka dalam melakukan pencegahan kekerasan seksual pada anak usia dini. The results of this study as a whole showed that parents' perception of sex education in early childhood in South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency was in the category of "quite good". Based on calculations obtained from 50 parents showed 64% of parents are in the category quite well. Furthermore, 26% of parents are in the good category. The results of this study shows that most parents are quite well to describe the meaning of sex education, they also consider sex education for children is very important and needs to be introduced and given to early childhood. As for the other findings show there are some parents who have not been able to provide prevention of sexual violence properly to their children, so that many parents need knowledge and know the importance of sex education since early age to prevent sexual violance in early childhood.
