Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa komik pembelajaran yang dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar pada mata pelajaran bahasa Arab kelas V MI. Pengembangan ini mengikuti prosedur yang sistematis dari model pengembangan Derek Rowntree. Model pengembangan ini terdiri dari tiga langkah besar yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap persiapan penulisan, dan penulisan dan penyuntingan. Evaluasi komik pembelajaran meliputi 3 tahap; tahap expert review, tahap face to face, dan tahap field test. Tahap expert review komik dievaluasi oleh dua orang ahli media, dua orang ahli materi, satu orang ahli bahasa, dan satu orang ahli desain pembelajaran. Tahap face-to-face dilaksanakan dalam dua gelombang, pada gelombang pertama dievaluasi oleh lima orang siswa dan pada gelombang kedua dievaluasi oleh tiga kelompok siswa yang berjumlah lima belas siswa. Terakhir tahap field test diujicobakan kepada empat puluh satu orang siswa. Dari hasil uji coba tersebut diperoleh rata-rata keseluruhan evaluasi expert review dengan nilai 3,70, rata-rata hasil uji coba face to face gelombang pertama dengan nilai 3,38 dan gelombang kedua dengan nilai 3,34, dan hasil uji coba field test dengan nilai awal 6,40 menjadi 8,90. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa komik pembelajaran bahasa arab ‘Seri belajar Artoon Mubtada dan Khabar’ yang telah dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan sangat baik. The purpose of the study is to produce a learning comic which is used as learning resource on the subject of Arabic for fifth grade in MI (islamic elementary school). This development follows the systematic procedure of development model by Derek Rowntree. This model consists of three major steps namely the planning phase, the preparatory phase for writing, and writing and re-writing. There are three steps to evaluate the learning comic; expert review phase, face to face phase and field phase. In expert review phase, comic is evaluated by two media experts, two material experts, one linguist and one learning design expert. Face-to-face phase is implemented in two periods. In the first period, the comic is evaluated by five students and in the second period, it is evaluated by three groups which consist of fifteen students. Finally, the field test phase is tested to 41 students. The test result shows the whole average of expert review evaluation with 3.70 score, the average of the face-to-face test result in first period is 3.38 score and the second period is 3.34 score, and the test result of field test shows 8.90 score from the previous score of 6.40. From the results, it can be concluded that Arabic learning comic ‘Seri belajar Artoon Mubtada dan Khabar’, which has been developed, can be categorized as very good.
