Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dari hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan citra sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Dalam hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat dengan membangun image positif pada masyarakat mampu membangun citra sekolah, peran hubungan sekolahn dengan masyarakat melalui komunikasi yang sinergis dengan masyarakat mampu membangun citra sekolah, dan peran hubungan sekolah dengan masyarakat dengan membangun institusi responsif terhadap dinamika masyarakat mampu membangun citra sekolah. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah sekolah melalui upaya membangun image positif, menumbuhkan komunikasi yang sinergis terhadap masyarakat, dan membangun institusi responsive terhadap dinamika masyarakat dapat membangun citra sekolah di SMK Genesis Medicare. This study aims to determine the role of the relationship of the school with the community to improve the school's image. The method that have done of this research is qualitative research method. In this research we can conclude that the role of the relationship of the school with the community by building a positive image in the community is able to build the image of school, the role of public relations with the school through synergistic communication with the community is able to build the image of school, and the role of the relationship with the school community to build institutions responsive to the dynamics of the community is able to build the image of school. The implication of this study is the school through the efforts to build a positive image, foster synergistic communication to the public, and build institutions responsive to the dynamics of the community can build the image of the school in SMK Genesis Medicare.
