Abstract
Persepsi siswa tentang kepemimpinan transformasional guru biologi merupakan proses yang terjadi pada siswa sebagai individu dalam usahanya mengenal sesuatu yang meliputi aktivitas mengolah atau menganalisis suatu stimulus dan ditangkap indera terhadap guru sebagai pemimpin yang memberikan pengaruh, membimbing, mengarahkan dan memotivasi siswa agar dapat mencapai tujuan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang gaya kepemimpinan transformasional guru biologi dengan motivasi belajar biologi siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 105 Jakarta pada bulan Mei 2017. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif melalui studi korelasional dengan teknik survei. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA dengan sampel sebanyak 79 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random rampling. Hasil pengujian normalitas data dengan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov diperoleh data kedua variabel berdistribusi normal. Hasil pengujian homogenitas dengan uji Bartlett diperoleh data dari kedua variabel homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi diperoleh bahwa model regresi Ŷ = 38,228 + 0,688X signifikan dan mempunyai hubungan yang linier. Hasil uji Pearson Product Moment diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,58 dan nilai koefisien determinasinya sebesar 0,3457. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara persepsi siswa tentang gaya kepemimpinan transformasional guru biologi dengan motivasi belajar biologi siswa. Student's perception about transformational leadership of biology teacher is a process that occurs on the student as an individual in their effort to know something that includes the activity of processing or analyzing a stimulus and arrested the senses of the teacher as a leader that gives influence, guiding, directing and motivating students to achieve goals well. The purpose of this study was to determined the correlation between student’s perception about transformational leadership style of biology teacher with student’s biology learning motivation. This research was held in 105 Senior High School on May 2017. The methods that used was descriptive method through correlational studies with survey technique. The subject of this research were the students class X of Math and Science with the sample 79 students were selected by using simple random sampling. The result of the normality data tested by Kolmogorov Smirnov test, the result showed that two data population were normality distributed. Data homogenity tested by Bartlett test resulting data obtained from the two homogeneous variables. Hypothesis test using regression test, was found that the regression model Ŷ = 38.228 + 0.688X had a significant and linier correlation. Based on Pearson Product Moment, the correlation values obtained 0.588 and the coefficient of determination obtained 0.345. Based on data analysis can be conclude that there is relationship between student’s perception about transformational leadership style of biology teacher with student’s biology learning motivation.
