Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas III pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui pendekatan whole language di SDN Kamal 01 Pagi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Adapun subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 13 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat pengumpulan data berupa soal post test (pilihan ganda), angket keterlaksanaan rencana pembelajaran oleh guru, dan angket observasi siswa pada setiap pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah menggunakan pendekatan whole language kemampuan siswa pada saat observasi kegiatan siswa meningkat, presentase observasi kegiatan siswa pada siklus I pertemuan I yaitu 50%, dan pada siklus I pertemuan II meningkat menjadi 65%. Pada siklus II pertemuan I presentase observasi kegiatan siswa yaitu 76,67%, dan pada siklus II pertemuan II meningkat kembali menjadi 86,67%. Selain itu, presentase hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Dari data awal yang diperoleh, presentase siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 60%, pada siklus I presentase siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 61,53%, dan pada siklus II presentase siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM mengalami peningkatan menjadi 84,61%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan pendekatan whole language maka kemampuan berbahasa siswa dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SDN Kamal 01 Pagi mengalami peningkatan. The objectives of this research is to increase the improvement outcomes learning of class III on studies indonesian language through the whole language approach in SDN Kamal 01 Pagi. The form of this research is Classroom Action Reasearch which consists of two cycle, each cycle consists of four phase. Those are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. As the subject of the research are the 13 grade students. This research using collection tools such as post test questions (multiple choice), questionnaire implementation of lesson plans by teachers, and questionnaires observation of students at each meeting. The results showed that after using the whole language approach increase student learning, the percentage of students observation activities in the I cycle first meeting is 50%, and in the 1 cycle second meeting increased to 65%. In the II cycle the first meeting percentage of student activity observation is 76.67%, and the II cycle second meeting return increased to 86.67%. In addition, the percentage of student learning outcomes also increased. In the form of first data, the percentage student is taken from the KKM is 60%, in the I cycle percentage of students who achieve the KKM is 61.53%, and the II cycle the percentage of students who achieve the KKM increased to 84.61%. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that by using whole language approach then the student activity and student learning outcomes in Indonesian language studies SDN Kamal 01 Pagi increased.
