Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan motivasi kerja guru di SMA Negeri Wilayah 1 Kota Administrasi Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan dua Variabel didalamnya yaitu : (X) komunikasi interpersonal variabel bebas dan (Y) motivasi kerja sebagai variabel terikat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survei. Pengumpulan data untuk variabel komunikasi interpersonal (X) dan variabel motivasi kerja (Y) dengan menggunakan instrument. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah dengan menggunakan product moment, dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji persyaratan yang meliputi uji normalitas dan uji linieritas. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis untuk uji keberartian korelasi diperoleh bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu thitung = 2,47 dan ttabel = 1,987. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dapat diterima. Hal ini berarti hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan motivasi kerja guru di SMA Negeri Wilayah 1 Kota Administrasi Jakarta Timur. This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between interpersonal communication with teacher’s work motivation on Senior High School in The 1 Region Administration, East Jakarta City. This research is quantitative with two variables there in, namely: (X) interpersonal communication (Y) work motivation. Data analyzing techniques to test the hypothesis using product moment. Before using the product moment researcher have to test the requirement test that cover normality test and liniearity test. From the result of hypothesis test for significance correlation researcher obtain Tscore > Ttable, Tscore = 2,47 and Ttable = 1,987. From the score we can conclude that the hypothesis being submitted is accepted and the nil hypothesis is rejected. From the result of the research can be concluded there is a positive relation between interpersonal communication with teacher’s work motivation on Senior High School in The 1 Region Administration, East Jakarta City.
