Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris mengenai hubungan antara kompetensi sosial guru PKn dengan minat belajar PKn siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama dua bulan terhitung mulai bulan April 2017 sampai dengan bulan Mei 2017. Melalui metode korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket diambil menggunakan metode pengambilan Proposional Random Sampling,dimana setiap kelas mempunyai kesempatan yang sama untuk menjadi sampel. Semua pernyataan dalam angket disajikan dalam bentuk skala likert. Data variabel X tentang kompetensi sosial guru dan variabel Y tentang minat belajar merupakan data primer berupa kuesioner. Pada perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan uji-t, berhasil membuktikan adanya keberartian memperlihatkan bahwa apabila semakin baik kompetensi sosial guru maka tingkat minat belajar pun akan meningkat. Berdasarkan analisis data melalui perhitungan uji korelasi Product Moment terbukti bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kompetensi sosial guru dengan minat belajar siswa dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian ini dapat diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi sosial guru PKn dengan minat belajar PKn siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. The Purpose of this research is to get empiric data about corelation between social competence of civics education teachers with student interest in learning Civics at class VII SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta. This research was conducted for two months starting from April 2017 until May 2017. The approach of this research was quantitative through correlation method.The data were collected using questionnaire taken using Random Sampling method, where each class has the same opportunity to be a sample. All statements in the questionnaire are presented in the likert scale. variable x is about teacher's social competence and variable Y about learning interest are primary data in the form of questionnaire. In the calculation of hypothesis testing using t-test, managed to prove their is significance result that the better social competence of teachers, will increase the level of interest in learning. Based on data analysis through Product Moment correlation test results proved that there is a positive relationship between the social competence of teachers with students' learning interests thus the hypothesis of this study can be accepted. Based on the results of research can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the social competence of Civics teachers with interest Learning Civics grade VII students at SMP Negeri 74 Jakarta.
